Well let's just see where this goes, shall we?

So when you work in marketing, one of the first things you tell them about organic, free growth is to produce your own content. Specifically blogs. Love them or hate them, they are a great way to connect with your target audience, and for others to find you organically through search engines. Yep, you read that right, if you didn't know, blogging is good for your own SEO. Is that why I am starting a blog here at Ala Ops? No, but it's definitely not going to hurt in the sense of a long term website search strategy. No, not that at all. And, did you put ads on this thing?? Why yes I did. Why not practice what I preach. I am not trying to knock the world out with anything. What I am trying to do is find an outlet to be able to talk passionately about some of the things going on in marketing, adops, and the tech industry as a whole. I think that there is a severe misrepresentation for voices like ourselves to be heard. We all have these ideas and we want to get them out, ya dig?

So again here I am, practicing what I preach, with a blog. I will have guest writers, I am hoping to be able to do a podcast one day. Build an adops community. Most people that come to me for one off projects say "where were you a month ago" or "no one knows how to do this stuff" and its true, no one really does. Not a lot of hard publisher side ad ops stuff online. While I no longer work for publishers full time, I will still be able to help people right here with best practices, tips and new features as they come out.

I love this kind of stuff, I always tell people.
